Description Andreas Höhmann 2005-07-22 04:18:17 UTC
I don't know if this is a bug or not ...

I have done:
1. emerged gnome
2. emerged firefox
3. then remove the mozilla-browser "emerge -C mozilla" (emerge dont show me a
warning! -> is this a bug ??? <-
4. then in gnome i would like to start "epiphany" but the programm doesn't start
- error: "can't get/load/init mozilla"
5. a "emerge -va --oneshot epiphany" repairs the programm
6. epiphany starting

i think the "emerge -C mozilla" should check the dependency to epiphany

Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge gnome
2. emerge -C mozilla

Actual Results:
start epiphany (would not start)

Expected Results:
the emerge -C mozilla should display a warning about the dependency to epiphany

this is my first gentoo-bug-report ;)

www-client/epiphany RDEPENDs on mozilla/mozilla-firefox, which means that it
needs it to run.

As for the rest of this, check Bug 2938.
