Yup, that pisses me off, too... It only pisses you off because you haven't read the einfo printed after installing xorg-x11. einfo "If you wish to set system-wide default cursors, please create" einfo "/usr/local/share/cursors/${PN}/default/index.theme" einfo "with content: \"Inherits=theme_name\" so that future" einfo "emerges will not overwrite those settings." PN = xorg-x11 Note the _local_ part in there. Oh, sorry, mea culpa. It must have been added recently... Yeah, it's only about two years old: http://www.gentoo.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/x11-base/xfree/xfree-4.3.0-r3.ebuild?r1=1.14&r2=1.15 :-))) Ok, you got me. I meant I must have seen this recently which brings me to "emerge scrolls everything off" issue (being solved in other bugs)... :-))) Sorry for bothering... yeah, my fault, too. indeed, einfo should be saved somewhere for laters browsing |
