Description Michael Knox 2005-07-19 20:36:12 UTC
From the alsa-utils-1.0.9a.ebuild:
">=media-libs/alsa-lib-1.0.8"

However upon build the following error stops the emerge process:
"checking for libasound headers version >= 1.0.9... not present."

I changed the depend entry in the ebuild file to:
">=media-libs/alsa-lib-1.0.9"
The latest alsa-lib was emerged and everything compiled without error.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge alsa-utils-1.0.9a
2.
3.

Actual Results:
checking for libasound headers version >= 1.0.9... not present.

Expected Results:
Should have installed alsa-utils.
