Description Joël 2005-07-18 14:55:50 UTC
I'm using a suspend2 patched kernel and genkernel 3.2.7, and I wondered why the
initrd booting triggers a suspend2 resume, while the initramfs mode doesn't.

Is there something magic to add ? I've seen a discussion about /sbin/init
scripts but on gentoo it is a binary..

Thanks

So apparently not a supportd one. This is not a bug, but a help request. Please
try to get help via an appropriate mailing list or forums.g.o.

Yes.. sorry

I posted this when I saw suspend2-sources in portage. Will try forums :-)

Which is a unsupported kernel, see

http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-kernel.xml#doc_chap3

When you find the problem and come up with a sane patch, I'm sure it will be
gladly accepted, though.
