Attachments: Ebuild for Kile 1.8.1, with correct i18n files

Description Federico Zenith 2005-07-18 02:57:25 UTC
The i18n files of kile have now be re-merged with the main package, after being
made available with a separate package through kile 1.7.

The ebuilds, however, still install the 1.7 i18n files (which are useless in the
best case, but will probably cause some minor problems, as incomplete
translations and outdated documentation).

Now the system is actually much simpler, and the various reimplementations of
ebuild functions are unnecessary.

Ebuild for Kile 1.8.1, with correct i18n files

This ebuild compiles fine with the correct i18n files for Kile 1.8.1 on x86.

You're right, I committed kile-1.8.1-r1 removing the i18n code as you
suggested.

Confirming spotting the ebuild in portage and closing bug.
Comment 4 Daniel Link 2005-09-20 14:12:36 UTC
I installed kile today and had no i18n, which brought this bug to my attention.
After installing 1.8.1 everything worked fine. I didn't encounter any problems
nor incomplete translation. Even if there were some English words left - who
cares? I think someone who installs kile should get what he expects (an
internationalized program) without having to mask a package and remerge the thing.
