Description Robin Johnson archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2005-07-14 01:35:18 UTC
We need this patch in our qmail. It allowes using qmail in mail setups where mail must come from a specific IP (not the default one on the machine).

See the URL for details.

Rediffed patch is here:
http://dev.gentoo.org/~robbat2/qmail-1.03-r16-virtual-domain-outgoing-IP-address.patch

Should apply cleanly after all current patches.

I've added the patch to -r16. This is finally the last patch to be added. Only
bugfixes from now.
Comment 2 Michael Hanselmann (hansmi) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-07-20 07:13:56 UTC
The patch broke qmail-remote and needed a rewrite. Did that and it's now in CVS.

*scrathes head*
i'm just wondering why it runs fine on my server (the original patch).

Yes, I wondered about that too. However, please take a look at bug 99497. I was
able to reproduce and fix it.
Comment 5 Michael Hanselmann (hansmi) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-08-14 04:04:06 UTC
Works as expected
