check file permissions. I saw something similar to this, months ago. Mldonkey's direcotory didn't contain valid rights for p2p user. Cheers, Przemek You should edit the configuration files only when mldonkey is shut down. If you edit them with mldonkey running, it will rewrite the defaults when stopped. Right, you can edit mldonkey config files only when mldonkey's shutdown otherwise you should edit it in mldonkey interface. if you read my bug report thoroughly, especially the steps to reproduce: Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge mldonkey 2. /etc/init.d/mldonkey start 3. access it through http://localhost:4080/ 4. try to change and save configuration settings. you will immediately see that I did just what you say: tried to edit the config setting through the HTML UI of mldonkey. and they just won't save. if you read my bug report thoroughly, especially the steps to reproduce: Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge mldonkey 2. /etc/init.d/mldonkey start 3. access it through http://localhost:4080/ 4. try to change and save configuration settings. you will immediately see that I did just what you say: tried to edit the config setting through the HTML UI of mldonkey. and they just won't save. closing Sorry, it's not fixed. Did you press ENTER after changing a setting in HTML interface? of course I did :) is that problem still present in newest mldonkey version? no feedback from user. closing |
