I can confirm this. the sound begins to stutter with rhythmbox aswell. downgrading gst-plugins-alsa to 0.8.8 helps. so also thread in forum: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-347016.html increasing severity, since packages become stable Gstreamer folks? I have the same problem here with gst-plugins-alsa-0.8.11 I solved this problem by removing /etc/asound.conf and restarting alsa. now the sound plays without any problems with gst-plugins-alsa-0.8.11 i've tried that before commiting this bug report. removing asound.conf doesn't work for me. PS: i've got audigy LS card (driver: snd_ca0106) If you have issues w/ 0.10.x, feel free to reopen. 0.8.x is basically dead. |
