Bug 98571 – sound isn't clear with gst-plugins-alsa-0.8.9 ans -0.8.10

i've got very unclear sound with these 2 versions of gst-plugins (i'm not sure if that's problem with gst-plugins or gst-plugins-alsa). i've noticed that in amarok and then i've tried:

gst-launch-0.8 filesrc location=file.mp3 ! mad ! alsasink

with the same effect.
i've checked in gstreamer's bugzilla, but i havn't found anything similar to my problem. i'm not sure what can couse that problem.

Unset:  ASFLAGS, CTARGET, LC_ALL, LDFLAGS

(note i've also tried to compile it with empty C*FLAGS).
gst-plugins(-alsa)-0.8.8 works just fine

I can confirm this. the sound begins to stutter with rhythmbox aswell.
downgrading gst-plugins-alsa to 0.8.8 helps.

I have the same problem here with gst-plugins-alsa-0.8.11

I solved this problem by removing /etc/asound.conf and restarting alsa. now the
sound plays without any problems with gst-plugins-alsa-0.8.11

i've tried that before commiting this bug report. removing asound.conf doesn't 
work for me.
PS: i've got audigy LS card (driver: snd_ca0106)

If you have issues w/ 0.10.x, feel free to reopen. 0.8.x is basically dead.
