The bug is not reproducible, so it is likely a hardware or OS problem.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge kde
2. wait until qt gets emerged
3. see the error after lots of sources are compiled

Actual Results:  
compiler error (Segmentation fault) happened first time,
then i restarted the build by typing emerge kde again
and got the above error message after some time

Expected Results:  
it should have built the qt package :)

This is probably a hardware problem, or a case where the compiler goes out of 
RAM...
