Do you have dev-perl/XML-Parser installed? (Are we missing a dependency somewhere here?) totem build does not crash at all, please post an apt summary next time and search for duplicate bugs. Thanks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 41124 *** I didn't have dev-perl/XML-Parser installed. After installing it, the scrollkeeper emerge succeeded. Looks like a missing dependency to me. (In reply to comment #3) > I didn't have dev-perl/XML-Parser installed. After installing it, the scrollkeeper > emerge succeeded. Looks like a missing dependency to me. It depends on >=intltool-0.29 which depends on XML-Parser, as the other bug explains. There is no missing dependency. So if the package is missing, it has be unmerged at some point (by accident or a broken emerge --depclean) ? (In reply to comment #5) > So if the package is missing, it has be unmerged at some point (by accident or a > broken emerge --depclean) ? emerge --depclean definitely can break a lot of things, as the warning says when you run it. Sanity check always recommended before letting it do its job. ;) |
