I just upgraded from 058 to 060, and the following lines were added to 50-udev.
rules :

# always run etc.d stuff for now.
RUN += "/sbin/udev_run_devd"

What's etc.d ? :p

Bah, it was late and I was fighting a bug that kept people from being able
to boot their boxes properly...

I'll take a typo in a comment over a non-bootable machine anyday.

So, if we want to be picky, care to attach a patch so I
can apply it?  :)
