metadoc.xml ver1.8 translation in Korean ( correct patch )
Sorry but I can't do anything with that. Your patch puts back some English and removes some Korean stuff that I obviously can't read. Please submit a patch against current /doc/ko/metadoc.xml Thanks. Neysx, in http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/gdp/doc/doc-tipsntricks.xml, ( translation tips & tricks page ) there is a way to make patch file, # diff -uNt ${LANG}/alsa-guide.xml alsa-guide.xml > alsa-guide.diff I just fellow that way. when i made my patch, i wondered it! i think that way is not corret, but i read it, so i just fellow it.. you mean,, # diff -uNt alsa-guide.xml ${LANG}/alsa-guide.xml > alsa-guide.diff is it correct? """ In case you want to help translating documents, create a directory for your language in which you keep the at that time current translations: """ That guide suggests one way to keep the current file, edit a copy and use diff to make a patch. It does not say anywhere you should make patches between different languages, but your patches are a mix of English and Korean, remove Korean bits and put English back in. Basically, you need to run diff -Nut current_ko_file.xml edited_ko_file.xml > the.patch so that all we have to do is patch <the.patch For a new translation, there is obviously nothing to patch against, just attach your new [ko] file.xml.
