Full log of emerge chrony
The configuration file is /etc/conf.d/chronyd, this looks like some minor quirk. Yes, I've installed chrony on another, dual-Celeron box with no problem. I haven't run it yet, but the installation problem I reported has not occurred. I gave up the attempt to install Gentoo on that ancient machine: time to install was not the main problem, but the 2GB disk was too small for large packages to compile. I'd be happy if this bug were closed. (In reply to comment #3) > Yes, I've installed chrony on another, dual-Celeron box with no problem.
