inherit debug wasn't too difficult to override ;)
So here is second patch which don't inherit debug but flag-o-matic. And that's
work good.
regardless, the concept of overriding CFLAGS/FEATURES with USE=debug is crap yes you're right. I think that too, but we need to don't strip binaries and lib. Maybe there's another solution, i don't find it :( Do you know one ? ive brought this up before on gentoo-dev mailing lists ... it isnt something to be solved on an individual ebuild basis Uh :/ So we need to update all e ebuilds for make it proper ? Also, for the rest of patch. What do you think about it ? about debug infos etc .. ? Do you think is it neccesary to have debugging libs & bin for e ? |
