Description Rafael Fernández López 2005-06-18 06:28:42 UTC
Hi,

I'm very sorry if I'm not writing where I should... but I think this is the
right place to do so.

I want to develop new apps for Linux (and include them to Gentoo). And I want to
take part in the Gentoo project by taking by my responsability the wxmaxima
(http://wxmaxima.sourceforge.net) project to Gentoo, I mean, to create an ebuild
and get it into portage.

For that reason, I am searching for mentors who can help me to do so. I'm a
Spanish student in the University (Universidad Complutense de Madrid,
http://www.ucm.es), and if you want to write me, you can do it at:

info@maestroprogramador.com

Thanks.

Hi,

New developer bugs are to be filed by your mentor. May I suggest that you have a
look on our staffing needs page [1] or alternatively contact sci@gentoo.org
where somebody may be able to mentor you.

Thanks!

Is there no way to get involved as developer ? I couldn't find in needs list a
place where I can help right now, but I could help portage to become better or
translate it to spanish.

I only want to help gentoo in the way I know.

Thanks.
