this is why gamin is not stable, i suggest you just follow progress on bugs like #74285 On a side note, have you exited and restarted your gnome session? If not, the in-memory linking to the FAM libs will still point to fam and not gamin, and fam is not longer sending signals. Yes, I have done (the entire machine had been rebooted several times before I got round to making the bug report). I suppose this means gamin's still under such heavy development that such reports aren't uncommon. I guess I'll keep watching the bug mentioned earlier, and its friends in GNOME's bugzilla... |
