Summary: lmtp dropped from services in baselayout-1.11.12-r4

Description Dale Pontius 2005-06-15 09:17:29 UTC
In previous stable baselayout-1.9.4-r6, /etc/services defined lmtp as port 2003.
The new stable baselayout-1.11.12-r4 no longer defines lmtp in /etc/services.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Tweak procmail ebuild to enable lmtp, and build/install
2. Make lmtp configuration, using "lmtp" by name, for xinetd and add to xinetd.d
3. Restart xinetd and watch /var/log/messages

Actual Results:
xinetd drops the lmtp services, because it can't find "lmtp" in /etc/services

Expected Results:
xinted should have started listening on the lmtp port

I have fixed this bug by manually adding lmtp in to /etc/services.
