Description Balint Dobai-Pataky 2005-06-15 00:05:40 UTC
i can create filters, they are there and operate only for current session of
thunderbird. after i quit thunderbird filters are gone.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a filter rule
2. quit thunderbird
3. start thunderbird and look for your new rule

Actual Results:
no new filters in the filterlist

Expected Results:
working filters in the list after thunderbird restart.

my ~ exists for years, it has seen lots of mozilla-mail and thunderbird versions.
my installed sarge does not have this bug.

the only way i can get filter rules saved on exit is to move newly created down
in the priority list.

i created the rule, so it's first in the list.
i had to press the button 'move down' twice to have it moved to the secnond row.
may it be the new rule enters the list with an index=minimalindex-1, so it's not
saved on exit in the a for style loop?

still an issue with 1.0.7? if so please move .thunderbird out of way and test
with a clean profile. I am still unable to replicate on my end.
