Description Claudinei Matos 2005-06-10 08:17:09 UTC
I did installed mod_log_sql (1.97) but it never works since it can't connect to
mysql database and can't write to sql file.
I've tried to upgrade to 1.100 version and now it's working fine, but I have to
update apache (and all apache modules) and that's not what I want.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge mod_log_sql
2.edited /etc/apache2/conf/modules.d/10_mod_log_sql.conf
3./etc/init.d/apache2 start

Actual Results:
[error] (13)Permission denied: attempted append of local preserve file
'/var/log/apache2/mod_slog_sql_preserve.sql' but failed.
[error] mod_log_sql: child spawned but unable to open database link

Expected Results:
Insert log to mysql database or write to preserv file.

What's the status here?
Comment 2 Michael Stewart (vericgar) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-03-05 18:39:30 UTC
The reported noted in thier original report that it works with 1.100 which is for new-style apache. As old-style apache is no longer supported, this bug is obsolete, as it applies to a version of a module we don't support anymore.
