ebuild for clucene-0.8.13
Rohan: Clucene is buggy and it doesn't look like it's well maintained. Unless this changes, I don't see the two packages to be added to the Portage tree. Disappointing :-( But I will respect your decision. Well, it's not a hard "no" and maybe some dev adopts it, but we're maintaining ebuilds, not the software itself. If upstream seems to be half dead, it doesn't make much sense to support it. That said, I like an indexing kio-slave, too. I closed the bug for kio-clucene, as it looks like that project is not going anywhere, and may merge with Kat. However, I'll leave this one open for now, as CLucene development has apparently picked up a bit lately and Kat will probably use this package later. dev-cpp/clucene now in portage. |
