I have media-video/ffmpeg-7.1.1.

User pam.patch is unrelated, it's from bug #948461 and the ffmpeg compile error reproduces without that patch as well.

Does ~arch xpra-6.0.1-r1 build?

There's bug #937008 but it hasn't gotten proper attention.

...nor has xpra as a whole really, still missing py3.13 despite switch being real close now.

If you use it and if you're interested, I'd suggest taking over.
