X11 Config file (xorg.conf)
The problem seem to be in the driver for the radeon card provided by X.org (radean) If I change to the driver provided by ATI (fglrx) everything works just fine so it works perfectly with the in kernel software suspend and ati drivers? interesting, I've never had much luck with either and use suspend2 (requires a set of patches) and the radeon driver. Anyway, back to the problem. What exactly are those two lines of output? Also, the hibernate script has a one or two tricks for dealing with X when it goes funky, in the hibernate config file take a look at the last couple settings, and twiddle around. (I can't say exactly what the options were, I don't have my laptop at the moment) see comment #5 Sorry for the delay.. I can't use swsusp on a amd64, the xhacks dosen't help much eather - oh.. yes I get a more ditailed error message - Because I can't copy text in that kernel state I toke a few fotos of the screen, and will atach them hear I have updated the kernel to 2.6.12-gentoo Created attachment 62029 [details]

You shoud know haw difficult it is to keep the camera still enath - hope you
can read it...
Is this reproducable with vanilla-sources-2.6.13_rc3? See comment #9. It does look like you've come across a kernel bug, but theres no point debugging or reporting until its tested on the latest development kernel (currently 2.6.13-rc4) |
