I know for certain that Latex-beamer is included in the new version (3.0) of tetex. I guess that this is why it is a blocker. I assume it is the same with the others. As far as I can tell, you should just unmerge the three packages. It works fine for me... If you have no objections, I would suggest marking this as INVALID Then why latex-beamer and others are not blocked from instaling when 3.0 is installed? I think they should be blocked by dependency < tetex-3.0 or something... Or maybe virtual should be created for them that is provided by tetex-3.0 if some not included (in tetex-3.0) package depends on them... Yes you're right. The matter of these packages being mutually blocking is being (hopefully) resolved in bug #94815. Therefor I mark this as a duplicate and advice that the discussion be taken to that bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 94815 *** |
