Administrators may choose to run the queue on a central server using qmqp. 
(Replace qmail-queue with a symbolic link to qmail-qmqpc to get a mini-qmail 
configuration according to http://cr.yp.to)

emerge overwrites the symbolic link qmail-queue->qmail-qmqpc and sent messages 
get stuck in the local queue WITHOUT any error messages or logs (other than you
