I did an emerge --sync and emerge -NDu world, which, among other things, updated
libxklavier. revdep-rebuild showed that the GNOME control panel was broken by
this upgrade. However, a rebuild fails at make, with "gswitchit_config.c:396:
error: too many arguments to function `XklConfigActivate'".

fixed deps in control-center, rsync & try again.
