* patch regarding PyThreadState seems not necessary anymore, sources contain the fix
* patch of Python version could be replaced with setting variable PYTHON_VERSION during configure
* could not find any hints on race issues with ld in the repository itself, try to omit -j1 (seems to be a pretty standard build)
