Thanks to the-horo and arthurzam, bug #900767 is finally fixed upstream[1]
and in dev-java/javatoolkit.

However, the package name 'javatoolkit' implies something more powerful and complex. 

For using it in java-pkg_verify-classes() of java-utils-2.eclass I would appreciate having a package name reflecting purpose or functionality, maybe 
'dev-java/class-version-verify'.

Such new package should not contain anything which isn't needed for that purpose.
