![]() I also vote for removing it. I dont think that this would cause harm for anybody. Are you going to take care of removing it? OK. We also need to check that no documentation suggests using it. All instances of the emu10k1 package have been removed from the documentation. It was used in the Gentoo Handbook/x86 as an example (Installing Additional Kernel Modules) and has been substituted with "ati-drivers". Added to package.mask. Will remove 10 days from now. media-sound/sbconf is also being masked/dropped. It is an emu10k1-specific application for controlling the sound card. Packages removed |
