Description Carsten Lohrke (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-01 11:04:28 UTC
nodocs -> doc
nosrc -> source

We have two fitting global flags, so there's no need for local ones and no* use flags are in general annoying and should not be used.
Comment 1 Karl Trygve Kalleberg (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-04 13:50:53 UTC
We'll do this when USE flags can have package-specific default settings. By
default, we must include both the source code and documentation for Eclipse,
otherwise it will not operate as expected.

However, it should be possible for the user to turn them off, should they for
some reason decide not to avail themselves of the docs and sources (since they
take a lot of time to build, and are also slightly disk hungry).

Therefore, we require a mechanism for package-specific defaults. AFAIK, neither
"doc" nor "source" are turned on in the default profile, and are therefore not
useful for our purposes.

Remove no-seamonkey USE in favor of seamonkey. no-* flags are raunchy

Comment 6 Thomas Kear 2006-09-10 23:00:51 UTC
Add to the list:

no-seamonkey -> seamonkey

There is a perfectly good global use flag for seamonkey too.

This has been fixed in >=dev-util/eclipse-sdk-3.2
