itools is a Python meta-package, it provides tools such as a
workflow engine or a really fast template language.

see http://ikaaro.org/itools/

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. put the ebuild in $PORTDIR_OVERLAY/dev-python/itools
2. ebuild itools-0.8.1.ebuild
3. emerge -av itools

Actual Results:
itools is installed

Ebuild for version 0.9.4

I added an ebuild to a newer release (0.9.4) I had in my local Portage overlay. I think all versions may be easily added by bumping the version of the package (I know there are newer versions, but I'm using 0.9.4).

itools-0.13.3.ebuild

Update ebuild for 0.13.3
Comment 6 Kevin 2007-03-11 19:54:42 UTC
Works for me on x86. Anyone tried a version bump on this to 0.15.1? I see that depends on python-2.5 tho'.

ebuild for 0.50 branch
Comment 9 Guillaume Romanczyk 2009-02-26 13:46:54 UTC
Hello,
I've write ebuilds for the two last major release of itools.

- itools-0.20.7 (used by ikaaro 0.20.* branch)
- itools-0.50.3 (used by ikaaro 0.50.* branch)

This ebuilds don't use SLOT, so you can not use different version at the same time.
It maybe great to add SLOT ?

All comments are welcome.

Regards,
  Guillaume.

NOTES :
- You could use Hforge Overlay which contains this ebuilds.
See : http://www.hforge.org/overlay for more details.

(New Ebuild) itools-0.50.7

This is for python < 2.6.
Comment 13 Guillaume Romanczyk 2009-06-08 10:08:35 UTC
With itools 0.60 we break compatibility with Python 2.5

So I've add an ebuild in 0.50 branch of itools which is the latest version that support python 2.5.

Upstream being http://www.hforge.org/itools looks dead. We won't package it.
