I noticed in one of my machines still running Gnome 45 that QT apps were invisible due to:

It seems a bit hard to backport, hopefully we will be able to update to 46 soon, but I open the bug here for the users that could hit it now that nvidia-drivers got their wayland/gdm support fixed

After updating x11-mutter to 46.7, I am experiencing the same issue with all applications in Gnome under X
