Description Kris Kerwin 2005-05-27 22:46:48 UTC
With the addition of the kde-meta packages to the portage tree, I think that
it would be a good idea to have the following virtuals:

kde-base/kde & kde-base/kde-meta -> virtual/kde
kde-base/kdebase & kde-base/kdebase-meta -> virtual/kdebase
kde-base/kdegraphics & kde-base/kdegraphics-meta -> virtual/kdegraphics

since both packages provide the same software. This would ease some dependency
issues.

Any questions or further clarifications, please feel free to email me.

Thanks for all of your help!

Oops!

I had meant to include an "etc" to include the other kde-meta derived packages.
This is probably a good idea to be used throughout.

We depend on the split packages, not the meta ones (see e.g.
x11-themes/qinx-1.4.ebuild).
