The Gentoo Forums footer still includes the following:

This is, as far as I am aware, no longer true.

There is also a hyperlink embedded (http://www.gossamer-threads.com/) which nowadays leads to 'carbon60.com', which I do not believe we are affiliated with either.

The footer might be living here [1]:

htdocs/templates/gentoo/overall_footer.tpl

As a sidey-note, 'gentoo.gossamerhost.com' still seems to host some autobuilds, though 21 November 2023 seems to be latest.  That probably isn't relevant to anything on our side though.
