Description Nuno Lopes 2005-05-26 07:49:41 UTC
I've installed gentoo in my pc and I've selected (linked) the 'Portugal'
timezone and I've changed the clockinfo from 'utc' to 'local'.
The problem is that when I reboot, the clock looses a couple of minutes. And
in one day, it may loose a couple of hours.

If I change the zoneinfo to GMT, no problem appens, although the clock is one
hour late (because of DST).

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

You did not post emerge --info output. At least glibc version is needed. You
should probably try to re-emerge glibc first just to see whether the timezone
file did not get corrupt somehow.

Please post emerge --info, like Jakub requested above.
Comment 3 Nuno Lopes 2005-05-27 08:31:49 UTC
The system is pretty new. Its a clean install with less than a month.

emerge --info:
