Description Jan Kundrát (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-25 02:07:17 UTC
When selecting File->Open, kdefilepicker gets SIGSEGV and crashes (the KDE "open file" dialog is actually visible for a short time). `emerge --info`, `emerge -pv openoffice-ximian` and the backtrace (as produced by KDE crash handler) is included. Feel free to ask for feedback, but don't expect too much rebuilds, it takes about 5 hours on my system.

`emerge --info`:

`emerge -pv openoffice-ximian`:
[ebuild R ] app-office/openoffice-ximian-1.3.11 +curl +debug -gnome -hardened +java +kde -nas +nptl +zlib

(I've built it with `FEATURES="-collision-protect nostrip" emerge -av openoffice-ximian` to generate useful debug output).

Comment 1 Jan Kundrát (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-25 02:10:22 UTC
Oh, and after closing the KDE's crash dialog, OpenOffice is not usable
anymore, File->Quit doesn't work well, closing the window works, but another
KDE crash dialog is displayed, now without usable backtrace.

stderr output from the beginning (libGL warning seems to be common to
many/all(?) X apps):
