hmm... internal compiler error... not good 3 possible reasons, hardware failure (rather not if this is always reproducible), broken toolchain, or a bug in gcc or glibc ok, here what we can try to do, if u have some spare time we will try to reemerge the toolchain 1. lower -O3 to -O2 in CFLAGS in your make.conf ( well... we are being careful ) 2. do ccache -C before every build or disable the ccache at all 3. disable the distcc ( if u are doing distributed builds ) 4. emerge gcc binutils 5. emerge glibc gcc binutils ( again, we must ensure that the toolchain and the glibc is rebuilt with a properly working compiler ) 6.try to emerge subversion and see if it works... if not feedback is welcome PS: i'm not a developer, but i think this might help gentoo-devs This bug is caused by a hardware failure with reiserfs. |
