The size and md5sum in digest-mono-1.1.7 does not match the size and md5sum of
the mono-1.1.7.tar.gz found on mirrors and on go-mono.com. I find the following
digest to be the right one:

MD5 f81c6b02ef0c5d5ef7ab827d28eb9731 mono-1.1.7.tar.gz 14766534

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. rm /usr/portage/distfiles/mono-1.1.7.tar.gz
2. emerge mono

This was fixed a few days ago. Please confirm you don't have any mono ebuilds in
your overaly with bad digests, and try running emerge sync again.

From my machine:
peter@stu peter $ cd /usr/portage/dev-lang/mono/
peter@stu mono $ cat files/digest-mono-1.1.7 
MD5 f81c6b02ef0c5d5ef7ab827d28eb9731 mono-1.1.7.tar.gz 14766534

Which is the digest from the go-mono.com site, and the one you have as well.
Marking FIXED, as this was addressed recently, feel free to re-open if you
continue to have problems after checking the things I mentioned. Thanks.
