One more question: Which version of boost do you have installed? What output do you get from 'equery f boost|grep libboost_log_setup'? Have not tried 2.6.1 ganymede ~ # equery f boost|grep libboost_log_setup /usr/lib64/cmake/boost_log_setup-1.85.0/libboost_log_setup-variant-shared.cmake /usr/lib64/libboost_log_setup.so /usr/lib64/libboost_log_setup.so.1.85.0 I just installed 2.6.1 and it's working fine.
