When we have dependency resolution bugs like in bug 922629, it'd be nice if we could abort before merging an image directory with broken SONAME dependencies.

qa-unresolved-soname-deps is nearly this, but there's no way (AFAIK? maybe stricter does it?) to make it fatal.

It would help with at least not pushing the system into a more-broken state.
