A change to the `proc_macro_span` nightly feature was made in the 1.72.0 release: https://github.com/rust-lang/rust/pull/111571

Now, if one enables USE=nightly on new Rust versions, the hyperfine build fails.

`emerge --info`, `emerge -pqv`, `build.log` attached.

Hyperfine >= 1.18.0 is not affected: https://github.com/sharkdp/hyperfine/pull/669

Looks to me like the best approach is putting <=dev-lang/rust-1.72.0 on an -r1.
