This pull request got the module to build when applied as a patch but I have not tested it in use yet https://github.com/mtorromeo/r8168/commit/94426e16197c244d03aad0434e3490acdaa830fe.patch runs fine here. As expected CONFIG_TRIM_UNUSED_KSYMS works fine too. Created attachment 894623 [details]

Reporting back that the PR applied as a patch in my previous comment I have been using since a few minutes posting that comment has been working fine in regular use. |
