It should be ignored safely, you can just send the output to dev/null to speed up the buildtime. Closing as WONTFIX as it's just a warning that altivec is being applied where it's not needed. You should also enable jumping or skipping on your terminal so that this doesn't slow down compiles. |
when doing a fresh installation of gentoo from a stage1 (possibly also stage2), the following warning is displayed for each object build is displayed. this also slows down the compilation process conciderably.
