Please title accordingly and assign to llvm@. (In reply to Sam James from comment #2) > Please title accordingly and assign to llvm@. Reassigned, title already indicates it's an LLVM error so not sure what to retitle to? This is due to LLVM 17's implementation of Loongson SIMD codegen being incomplete. The linked loongson-community/discussions issue (majority of comments are in Chinese but machine translation could be used) has some details. Given that LLVM 18 has this problem fixed, guess we can just wait until media-libs/mesa bumps its LLVM compatibility range and simply close this bug then? The bug has been closed via the following commit(s): https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=f4ea154defa622dcca99e90bfe9fce34b02913e3 commit f4ea154defa622dcca99e90bfe9fce34b02913e3 Author: WANG Xuerui <xen0n@gentoo.org> AuthorDate: 2025-01-06 05:46:00 +0000 Commit: WANG Xuerui <xen0n@gentoo.org> CommitDate: 2025-01-06 07:06:20 +0000 profiles/arch/loong: mask LLVM_SLOT <18 for media-libs/mesa Closes: https://bugs.gentoo.org/929197 Signed-off-by: WANG Xuerui <xen0n@gentoo.org> profiles/arch/loong/package.use.mask | 5 +++++ 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+) |
