I was hoping to use dns-over-tls with dig +tls, but our version is too old. The 9.16 series is also apparently EOL in April 2024, and it's April 2024 right now, so there's no better time.

Sorry, I'm going to try get this over the line shortly. Just all of my spare Gentoo time got sucked up by The Event recently.

No problem, it happens when it happens. I missed the other one because of a typo in the description (now fixed).
