![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It is required for Quick Sync Video on Intel iGPUs Broadwell and older. Dropping this package effectively is a perfomance hit for video decode and encode on those devices. Additionally, ffmpeg-4 does not support VPL as the QSV library, this was introduced in ffmpeg-5.
