I added the lastest libnss-pgsql(1.3) a few days ago. It's still package.masked because it depends on libpq expermental ebuild. Although I'm going to unmask in the next several weeks, if you can test it please test and report it before that. Be warned that that particular version will not become the official supported version. There have been a number of discussions between myself and the developers of that version. It has been decided to move the official version to the URL posted in this bug. This will potentially cause versioning problems for gentoo, as the version on the pgfoundry site will be 1.1 when it's released. We are currently in the process of merging the code from the two versions. The one on sourceforge, and the one on pgfoundry. Hope this helps your maintenance efforts. Thank you for the information. I didn't know about it. So, we should wait the merged version released? Possibly is best. I will post another comment to this bug when the next release on pgfoundry has been made. It shouldn't be too long. I am awaiting merging of the new autoconf stuff. Which I know little about. Once that is in, I will just test and then release. I'd be expecting at the end of May we will have had a release. I'm not sure how long before the libpq build is likely to become stable, but if it's in that timeframe, then it's probably a good time. sys-auth/libnss-pgsql-1.4.0 is in the tree which fixes the HOMEPAGE and SRC_URI to be pgfoundry.org, and 1.4.0 is the latest release according to pgfoundry.org, so this seems correctly fixed, closing.
