In documentation here https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Project:GURU/Information_for_Contributors the url is git@git.gentoo.org:repo/proj/guru.git

I believe it should be changed to git://git.gentoo.org/repo/proj/guru.git

My pkgdev error was

> no known syncer support

Fixed in pkgcore v0.12.27 and v0.12.26
