I'm having segfault trouble during apache2 operation that seems to be due to mod_perl.  Stas says there's no point in debugging it as long as I'm using mod_perl-1.99.17 (Gentoo's latest) which is from October 22, 2004.  What can I do to get the latest mod_perl into portage?
