Description sanomiad 2024-01-28 01:44:38 UTC
Hello,

I successfully exported a PDF file of considerable size into a DOCX format using Adobe Acrobat Pro. However, when I attempted to open it in LibreOffice Writer & Draw, the applications froze, and I have to force quit to use them again. Interestingly, other DOCX files open without any issues.

$ libreoffice --version

Have you considered reporting this upstream? Do you have any opportunity to try open that document on a different distribution?

Could you try attach gdb and run 'bt' when it's stuck?

I tried MacOS Sonoma and got the same results. So, I think this warrants submitting a bug report upstream.

I will try that and post the results.

No fix is available as of right now. Alternate solution is to use MS Word.
