This patch adds smooth scrolling to konqeror and possibly other apps to that uses khtml. It comes from a suse SRPM.

The original patch comes from here: http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=76082
So kde developers already know about it, but the feature is not in effect yet due to binary compatibility issues.

Maybe you can inform them of the hack made by suse to make it functional, so they can decide whether to apply it or not.
